Quebrada de los Cuervos

Quebrada de los Cuervos

44 kilometers from the city, over 4 thousand hectares – property of the Municipal government of Treinta Tres – were declared protected land by the Uruguayan State and consist of a place like none other, with surprising flora and fauna for both local people and foreigners who manage to make it here. La Quebrada de los Cuervos has a typical “throat” formation that the Yerbal stream naturally made, hollowing out the rugged hills of the same name. This erosive action has generated a subtropical microclimate unique in the country. To get to La Quedbrada de los Cuervos from the Treinta y Tres capital, go 22 kilometers to the north by route 8 after leaving the city. Then, turn on to a gravel road and travel for about 20 kilometers until you reach this area of high touristic interest. Telephone: 4452 2911.
