One of the great pilgrimages in Uruguay is to the San Cono Chapel. The celebration is on June 3, but for 15 days tens of thousands of devotees come here. It is one of the first agro industries in the country and was location on the estancia (ranch) founded in 1825 by the British man John Jackson Ball.
